We are very pleased
to announce that Whisper was awarded her AKC Championship, on August 17th,
at the Greeley Kennel Club Show, Greeley, CO, under Judge Sharon M. Lyons.
We would like to thank all of the judges that have awarded Whisper points,
for their time and in many cases kind words, to her handler, who's inexperience
frequently showed.
Whisper finished her AKC Championship, with 4 Major Wins and 17 Championship
Points. During her quest for her Championship, she took a number of Best
of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Winners awards. Her favorite
show site was Casper, Wyoming were for the past two years she has taken
the points and also 2 Best of Breeds and 2 Best of Opposite Sex awards,
for Labrador Retrievers.
We'd also like to thank everyone within the Labrador Retriever Club of
Greater Denver, for you assistance and advise. I know that we frequently
asked questions, that we are certain have been asked of you a million
times before, but appreciate the kind advise and coaching. Special thanks
to Susan Burke-Rose for her advise and coaching at the Greeley show, without
your calming words and coaching, we may still be in quest of Whisper’s
championship.
Very special thanks to Greg and Tricia Kelly-Lynch of Kellyn Labradors
and Linda Ciancio of Brooks Labradors, for breeding such a wonderful
example
of the breed, without your attention to breeding quality Labrador Retrievers,
we would never have had the privilege of finishing such a wonderful
animal.
